RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Our work for people of faith, their communities, and faith-based organisations, covers their relationship with the State, violation of their beliefs and matters of conscience. Our lawyers have advised parents on the conflict between their religious beliefs and sex and relationships education in school. We have also advised a Christian school governor on their removal as a school governor due to their objection to gender ideology. The case was successful as the removal was declared unlawful by the High Court. We advised Muslim parents in a successful challenge to a decision of Barts Hospital to remove life sustaining treatment from their daughter contrary to their religious beliefs.
